Mike I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour while attending the
Wilds of the Rockies Youth Camp. That was the last Friday
in August, 1988. The Holy Spirit had been convicting me
all of that week and on that Friday I finally
heeded His call to be saved. I waited 2 years before being

baptized and at the age of 15 I surrendered to preach.

God has allowed me to serve in many capacities in

many churches. I have met and known so many of God’s

wonderful people and have always been blessed to live

my life in the house of the Lord! Never have I known

God to fail anyone, including me!

My beautiful wife Holli and I met in church and have been living in

wedded bliss since 2001! No kiddos yet but we do have

one loser of a kitty! :p

Since graduating high school and setting out on my own I have worn many

hats in the Lord’s work (what joy!): I have served as Song Leader,

Bus Captain, Junior Church Director, Teen Director, Sunday school

teacher, Choir Director, Janitor, pulpit supply and much more!  I am proud to

have served our country in the USAF and am

a graduate of Heartland Baptist Bible College.

My wife and I are proud to have been helpers and charter members of

Majesty Baptist Church of Vancouver, WA.

Currently, we are back home and enjoying being a part of

Southwest Baptist Church!

HolliI accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour in October 1987

at First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley in Colorado

Springs, Colorado.  While kneeling at the altar to pray,

my mom knelt by my side and asked me what I was

praying about.  When I wasn't sure of the answer,

she took her Bible and led me to Christ.  I was

baptized the following Sunday.

At the age of 15, shortly after my grandmother had passed

away, I began to feel the Lord speaking to my heart about

more I could be doing.  One night while lying in bed, I

prayed and asked God to use me according to His will.  I

began to feel more excited about doing God's work.  In

January 1999, I had the privilege of taking the 2-3-year-old

Sunday school class.  What a joy!  It was a great time, and I do praise the

Lord for the opportunity to have an impact on such young lives.

In April 2001, the Lord introduced me to the love of my life--Mike Caldwell.  He

would become my husband just one year later.  After our marriage, I moved to

Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he already lived and "dove into" the life of being

a wife.  I couldn't have been happier!  I considered it a joy and privilege to be

the "help meet" to my husband in the areas of Christian service God had placed

us in.  That chapter came to an end in November 2003 when God called us back to

Colorado Springs to serve Him at First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley

under the leadership of Pastor Gene Woods.  We believe He called us there

in order to show us the way to Bible college.

From 2003 - 2009, we lived where we now consider "home" and attended

the Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK, under the leader-

ship of Bro. Sam Davison.  We were blessed to be involved in a number of

ministries there while Mike attended Heartland Baptist Bible College.  After

Mike's graduation from Graduate School in 2008, we simply enjoyed post-

college life while we awaited the Lord's direction.  In March 2009, during

the Annual Missions Conference, we met Virl & Sandy Stalnaker, church

planters to the Northwest, who were going to Vancouver, WA, to start

a church.  Over the following months, the Lord made it clear that He

would have us move to Washington to help the Stalnakers start the

church.  We moved to Vancouver in September 2009.

Majesty Baptist Church began in March 2010 and

we are excited about what God is doing in and through that church.

As independent, fundamental, premillenial Baptists we believe:

We believe in the inspired word of God as the final rule of faith and practice.
We further hold to the KJV as correctly translated from the correct manuscripts.

We believe in one God, manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
He is the creator of all things and sovereign over the same. He is eternal.

We believe in the virgin birth, the deity, and the sinlessness of Jesus Christ.
His blood provided for our atonement. His resurrection proved he was God

and able to grant to us eternal life.

We believe the work of the Holy Spirit to be that of lifting up the name and

work of Jesus Christ; that he never exalts himself; that he accomplishes

his work by convicting of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates,

sanctifies, indwells, empowers, guides, teaches, and comforts the saved.

We believe in the person of Satan: his fallen state, his destructive ways,

and his eventual destruction.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We

further believe that all who believe in His death, burial, and resurrection

may freely come to Him for salvation; that, just for the asking, the sinner

will receive forgiveness of sin, salvation, and everlasting life; and that

salvation is eternally secure and cannot be lost.

We believe that sin is any transgression against the divine will of God

in all matters written and unwritten; that sin brought man death and

eternal separation from God; that it condemns to a literal, eternal, fiery Hell.

We believe that Jesus Christ is bodily coming back for His saints, both those

who are dead and those who are alive at that time. We believe the rapture

will happen before the Tribulation Period and that the saints will

rule with Him a thousand years after the Tribulation Period.

We believe that the local church is the body of Christ and was established by

Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry and not on the day of Pentecost.

We further believe in the authority, independence, and autonomy of each

church. The local church has only two ordinances: baptism by immersion

and the Lord's Supper by closed communion. It's commission is to win,

immerse, add, and teach every convert. We believe in separation from

denominationalism, liberalism, ecumenicalism, new evangelicalism,

and all neo movements such as the Charismatic movement.
